Terms & Conditions

By purchasing artwork from Lilit L Hovhanni ("the Artist"), you ("the Buyer") agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. OWNERSHIP AND TRANSFER OF RIGHTS Upon purchase, the Buyer acquires physical ownership of the artwork print or photograph. This includes the right to display, gift, or resell the physical work. The Buyer does not acquire copyright, reproduction rights, or any intellectual property rights to the artwork. All such rights remain exclusively with the Artist. 2. ARTIST'S RETAINED RIGHTS The Artist retains the perpetual right to: • Exhibit the artwork or reproductions thereof in galleries, museums, exhibitions, art fairs, and other public or private venues worldwide • Include the artwork in portfolios, catalogs, books, and promotional materials • Display the artwork on websites, social media, and digital platforms • License the artwork for editorial, commercial, or artistic purposes • Create and sell additional editions or prints of the artwork (unless Exclusive Ownership is purchased) • Photograph, reproduce, and document the artwork for any purpose 3. EXCLUSIVE OWNERSHIP OPTION If the Buyer purchases Exclusive Ownership rights for a particular artwork: • The Artist agrees not to produce or sell additional editions or prints of that specific artwork • The Artist STILL RETAINS the right to exhibit the work in galleries, museums, and exhibitions • The Artist may still display the artwork in portfolios, catalogs, and promotional materials • The Artist may still license the image for editorial purposes with proper attribution • Premium pricing applies to Exclusive Ownership purchases 4. LIMITED EDITIONS For limited edition prints: • Each print is numbered and signed by the Artist • The total edition size is fixed and will not be exceeded • Once all editions are sold, no additional prints will be produced from that edition • Artist's proofs and exhibition copies are separate from the numbered edition 5. AUTHENTICITY AND QUALITY • All artworks come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Artist • Prints are produced using archival-quality materials • The Artist guarantees the authenticity of all works sold 6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY • The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information • Risk of loss transfers to the Buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier • International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees • Delivery times may vary based on location and artwork availability 7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS • Due to the unique nature of artwork, all sales are final • Returns may be considered on a case-by-case basis for damaged items • Any approved returns must be made within 14 days of receipt • The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging 8. PRIVACY • The Buyer's personal information will be kept confidential • The Artist may maintain records of sales for provenance purposes • The Buyer may request to be listed anonymously in any public records 9. REPRODUCTION BY BUYER • The Buyer may not reproduce, copy, or create derivative works from the purchased artwork • Photography of the artwork for personal, non-commercial use (such as social media posts showing the artwork in the Buyer's space) is permitted with attribution to the Artist 10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION • Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation • If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to arbitration in the Artist's jurisdiction • This agreement is governed by the laws of the Artist's country of residence 11. ACKNOWLEDGMENT By completing a purchase, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the Artist and the Buyer regarding artwork purchases.
